Dear Pastor Prakash and Sister Poonam.
I received the pictures of the distribution
programme. Praise the Lord. I was surprised to see a poster with
our name and picture on it. We usually do not seek recognition
for what we do in the Name of Jesus Christ. But I guess it is all
right so that the people can relate to us in this world. I only included
our photo on the CD because it helps people to feel more comfortable
if they can see who they are learning from. My wife's name is GiGi.
I will be praying for VBS and wheel chairs.
I can see that the elderly lady is sitting upon a pallet with wheels.
My heart goes out to her. What is 5 'black spect'? I need to know
what this is so that I can pray for these also. Isn't our God a good
and generously beneficient God? He blesses his people through his
people; and when necessary, in a miraculous way. I decided not to send
the 8 KJV bibles. I will give them to the homeless shelter in our city.
Too much cost to send with little benefit. It is better for you to have
NIV bibles, so that is what I am sending you. They are easier to understand
because of modern English language. Jesus is Good. Jesus meets our needs.
Jesus is Lord. Jesus gives to us salvation and eternal life. I really
appreciate your effectiveness and zeal for the Lord in your ministry
to the people God is saving. You are working so hard for the Lord. May
your rewards in heaven be great!
brother Moses and sister GiGi :-)
Dear Prakash and Poonam:
Today I sent to you 48 NIV Passion New Testaments
for your people. I sent them 1st class air mail. The two bibles
that I sent to you before by 1st class air mail took 29 days to arrive
for you. The post master says 6-10 days, and he was surprised to hear
that the two bibles took 29 days. We will see how long these 48 New Testaments
take to arrive for you in India. I will send more rupees in two weeks.
Tell the 15 children that did not get clothes to have hope in Jesus and
they will obtain clothes.
I am being persecuted by my church because I do
not believe that the King James Bible is the only Bible. There
are many translations now. The deacons and trustees threw me out
of the church last week. They are being immature. God did not stop
translating bibles 400 years ago in 1611. People had Greek and Latin
bibles before the King James Version was ever made, and people today
have better and newer translations of the Bible than the King James
Version - like the NIV for example. This is why I send to you New International
Versions. The brethren are asking me to come back to church again anyway,
and if the deacons and trustees do not like it, they can leave instead.
I should go, and then they can call the police to have me removed from
the assembly. Then I can suffer persecution for the sake of the Name
of Jesus, for he said blessed are you when men persecute you, and cast
you out, and use opprobrious language against you for my sake; for yours
is the kingdom of the heavens. In the New Testament, John chapter 9,
the Pharisees threw the blind man Jesus healed out of the synagogue for
telling them the truth. This is the same.
Let me tell you my testimony. I was 25 years old
in 1977 and was lost and a sinner of great magnitude. I was at a market
where people sold used possessions, and I was looking for a typewriter.
One young man came to me and started telling me about Jesus. Another
young man came and joined him and they both were talking to me about
Jesus. Then a girl came and joined them and all three were telling
me about Jesus. They kept reading from a little black book called the
Bible.
Then one of them shouted out loud, "Jesus is coming
again!" And one man at the market said, "I will believe it when
I see it," and another man said "Amen!" So I realized that everybody
had an opinion about this Jesus. So later I went to the book store
and bought a little black Bible like what they had for $30 and began
to read it. I read it through in 3 months, and when I got to the
New Testament, and learned of Jesus, I believed. I was born again!
Now I have been a Christian 31 years, and I never have been hungry,
and I have never been living on the street. Jesus has always met my needs.
I started telling all of my friends about Jesus and his saving power,
and I studied much concerning the Faith.
I started my web site ministry to let people know
about the errors many present concerning Jesus, and what the truth
really is. This is where you found me. I started to translate the Gospel
from the original Greek language because I thought that errors held
by many in the Faith were because of bad translations, and if I were
to do my best to impact humanity, then it must be through translation.
This is where I am now. Now I have found the joy of sharing with God's
people so that their needs would be met. This is where I am able to minister
to you and your people. "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
There is nothing wrong in recieving, for where can one give without a recipient;
I am sharing in your joy.
God bless your efforts, and may your people be blessed:

Dear Parmeshappa:
Praise the Lord for your faith! It makes me very happy
to hear of the fruitfulness of pastor Prakash's ministry in India.
I am glad you are a new believer with eternal life. I am helping him
as much as I can with support and prayers. I will pray for your education
and for the salvation of your family. When I was a new believer my
own wife, her mother, and her brother were all persecuting me for my
faith in the Lord Jesus. Now they are all saved. Praise God! He works
wonders in the face of opposition. May God the Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ bless you in all things through him and meet all of your needs.

Dear Brother Luther:
I can see your picture in the Vacation Bible School
from April 2007. You look very much like Brother Prakash. I thought
that you may be brothers in more ways than one. I pray that all will
go well in the VBS in Gadag Leper Colony. I pray for materials, finances,
good weather, spiritual benefits for the children, and that many will
be saved as a result. I also pray for protection from opposition people
and from persecution. I may be able to purchase the 3 wheelchairs for
the leper people if I get money in July 2008. I costs many thousands of
rupees to send from america, so it may be more expedient to purchase them
in India and have them delivered to Gadag leper Colony. I would need an
physical address for the delivery there. Send my greetings to pastor Prakash,
and you keep on growing in the Lord Jesus. God bless you. brother moses.

Dear Pastor Prakash and Sister Poonam:
I am so glad that you received the 48 New
Testaments. I observe that it takes about thirty days for books to
reach you from America. I am glad that the authorities did not find
and burn or throw somewhere. I realize that you are a very busy man with
your ministry projects, and that I should not impose to you with many
e-mails. It is my suggestion that you keep these 48 New Testaments and
give them only to those people in your churches that can read and speak
English. It may be another month before I have money again to buy books
on the creation of birds, fish and animals, and Bible stories. The books
cost about $100 American dollars (3950 rupees) to buy, and $75 (2975 rupees)
to send to you. Please pray for us that we will be given money by God to
help your ministry more. Give our greetings to Sister Nirmal, brother
Martin, brother Luther and all of the others that we love. God bless

for needs of the Leper people in Gadag, and for some of your
own ministry
needs, and for Kannada bibles, and for the slum ministry, and
for food, clothes,
medicine, treatments, or whatever seems proper for you to do.
We never really

decide how best to use it in your ministries. You have my blessing.
We have

I do
not want to be that way. I do not want to be dictating to you what
to do with
the money. You choose. I trust you. Praise the Lord!
We are doing fine over here. I have finished
translating the First
Corinthians Epistle of Paul. Remember that there was a portion at
the end of the
212 pages where I said that it was not translated by me, but was
of the KJV?
Well I will send to you the subsequent translation I made of that
section. You
can put it in the back of your notebook after the 212 pages so you

Praise be to God. Greetings in his Name. I am
full of joy because of all that the Lord is doing in your family and house.
I am also joyed because a sister in the Lord named Susie has donated $100
to the leper colony people of Gadag where pastor Prakash ministers. I will

interest in Jesus. You have courage in sharing the Gospel with your Hindu

Dear Pastor Prakash:
Praise the Lord, for he is great! I have good news.
I just received the first donation for the Gadag Leper Colony people on
my web page from a sister in Christ named Susie Wright. She has donated $100
American Dollars (3900 rupees) for ministering to the needs of your people.
God is good because he puts compassion in the hearts of his people. If
you want to thank her personally, her e-mail address is: (withheld for
privacy). I will send it to you on May 13th along with my regular contribution
of 7800 rupees. I just e-mailed a greeting to Parmeshappa. Greet brothers
Martin and Luther, and sisters Poonam and Nirmala for me, and all the brothers
and sisters in Gadag. I hope that your VBS went well, and that many got saved
as a result. I am still praying for the Lord to send you wheelchairs. I
am now attending a new church. They seem agreeable, and so far all the teaching
is correct. We are welcome there. May God continue to richly bless your
works for the Lord and your ministries among the saints, and may many more
come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. brother moses and sister
gigi. :-) redacter@aol.com
Dear Susie:
Thank you for your loving care and compassion for our
brothers and sisters in this leper colony church. There are now over 30 families
in this church. Your kind gift will result in thanksgiving and praise for
our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, not to mention the needs of these brethren
being met. I myself send $200 a month to their pastor, Prakash Doddamani.
He is very careful to use what I send to him for the work of the Lord only.
He is the one who makes the purchases and distributions in their colony.
He also has a slum ministry, and a childrens ministry in Hirebannematti.
He just finished doing a Vacation Bible School last week in this Gadag leper
colony. He ministers to the children, and then invites the parents on the
last day to hear the Gospel. Many get saved this way. Some of his brethren
outside of the colony e-mail me and love to keep in touch. There is a brother
called Parmeshappa outside in Hubli who got saved six months ago, and he
wants to go to school to learn how to minister in the Name of our Lord Jesus.
As a result, his brother, Ragunatha also got saved. The Spirit of the Lord
is moving in that place. Thank you again for your donation of $100, and God
will surely bless you. brother Orin Moses
:-) http://orin.net
redacter@aol.com
Dear Orin,
Thank your for your email. Oddly enough (or not so odd
:) I was about to send you one. As far as the donation, I feel very humbled
and blessed already. I have a need to give, but want to give where it really
matters. Sometimes it makes me feel sick in my spirit the way we Americans
have been truly blessed by God and it never seems to be enough. Sometimes
I have felt the same way about myself. Anyway, without really praying about
it or anything, when I saw your website, I knew that the Leper Colony Church
was the place for me to give. I have a son, 31 years of age, that is profoundly
mentally retarded with autism and I guess in some way, I can relate to the
leper people. I suppose I have a better understanding of being shunned by
the world than a lot of folks, of the pain of alienation, of looking and
being different, the feelings of rejection. I love the leper people already.
I read every single email sent and looked closely at every picture. My only
wish is that I had more money to send. However, I have already committed
in my heart to send as much and as often as I can. You do a good work and
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion.
As I was saying earlier, I was about to send you an email.
I felt a kindred spirit with you when I read your thoughts on Ronald Weinland.
I too, ordered his books, read them, and threw them in the trash because
I didn't want them in my house. I too, have a copy of Larry Wilson's book
"Warning! Revelation is About to be Fulfilled", and have kept that one and
continue to study it. I would appreciate your thoughts on the Sabbath. I
am going around and around on this one!
Thanks again for your kind response. God loves you so
much, you are the apple of His eye!
Susie
Dear Susie:
I think when you are questioning whether we are to observe
the Sabbath or not, you are referencing from Larry Wilson's book "Warning!
Revelation is About to be Fulfilled." The point that he makes is very good
and truly convincing, that is: If we are to honor our parents and not steal
and practice all the other commandments, why are we not keeping the Sabbath
as well? After all, it is one of the ten commandments. Even Jesus said to
the rich man the list of ten commandments when the man desired eternal life.
He was still under the Mosaic Covenant, as was Jesus, and that is why Jesus
said that to him. Jesus even told the ten lepers that were cleansed to go
show themselves to the priests, and offer offerings for their cleansing.
They were still under the Mosaic Law. Authors have many good things to offer
for our benefit. They also can be in error in some things. I am sure as you
go through my web site you may find something disagreeable. That is the state
of things. Paul said to prove all things and hold to that which is good.
We do not observe Sabbaths. Two thousand years we worship the first day of
the week. 7th day Adventists are trying to be justified by keeping the Law.
Now in an epistle somewhere, the apostle Paul says, “Let
no man therefore judge you in food or in drink, or in respect of a holy day,
or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath,” Colossians 2:16. The apostle Paul
also said in Romans 3:20, “therefore by the deeds of the Law there shall
be no flesh justified in His sight.” Galatians 2:16 and 3:11, also say that
no man will be justified through keeping the Law. Galatians 5:1-4 basically
says remain free from the Law, and that if you allow yourself to be circumcised
(or become obligated to observe Sabbaths) you will fall from grace, Jesus
will be of no use to you at all, and you will then be obligated to do the
whole Law. Acts 13:38-39: “Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren,
that through Jesus is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: and by him
all that believe are justified from all things, from which you could not
be justified by the Law of Moses.”
In Christ, brother Moses. :-)
